2. Try to get a photo of the front of the Tyn Church

One of the main and most beautiful churches in Prague, and no matter how hard we try, we will not be able to photograph the whole thing, since some treacherous little houses cover part of its front. Even so, the temple and its history are so fascinating that they are well worth a visit.

3. Dine aboard a boat that travels along the Vltava

Seeing the city of Prague aboard a boat that sails the waters of the Vltava is a great idea, it shows us a side of the city that we do not have access to when we go on foot. 5. Walk the Charles Bridge

Crossing the Charles Bridge is something you have to do in Prague. The construction of the bridge connecting the Old Town with the Small Town was completed in the 15th century, and it is the second oldest in the Czech Republic.

6. Ride the Hemleys carousel

9. Get a souvenir from Krtek

He is undoubtedly the most illustrious figure in Czech children's television. A small mole, with a name that is unpronounceable to us, dressed in blue overalls and a wool hat. And today, it is without a doubt one of the nicest souvenirs we can get in the city. We can find it in the form of a stuffed animal, a keychain and even as a collectible from a brand of chocolate eggs with a surprise. Don't miss the opportunity to take it home!

10. Climb the Petrin Tower

This small Eiffel Tower, which is part of the Prague skyline, has one of the best panoramic views of Prague, and you can reach it by staircase or elevator. The climb to the tower crosses Petrin Park, one of the favorite places for Prague residents, where you can enjoy both wooded areas and well-kept gardens, and can be reached either on foot or by funicular.

Lovers of modernism will be dazzled by the number of modernist-style cafes hidden in the narrow streets of Prague. The Café Imperial, the cafeteria located in the Black Madonna Building, or the Kavarma Lucerna are some of the great examples that we can find.

13. Rest in a single chair

Prague's cobbled streets test the physical capabilities of the most experienced travelers. Taking a stop along the way can become a necessary task. But if we can also do it in a chair like the ones in the photo, even better, because of course they are more than just resting points, they are urban works of art.

14. See the Castle at nightfall

It is almost impossible not to see the castle wherever we are. Its unbeatable location makes it a continuous focus for our gaze, and if there is a moment when it seems even more magical than usual, it is during the night, when we can contemplate its reflection on the black waters of the Moldova.

15. Go to a black play

If you don't speak Czech... it doesn't matter, since most works of this type are silent. And if you don't find the idea of silent theater curious enough, we will tell you that the actors dress in black and everything is totally black. You will only be able to see the objects that they decide to highlight, and what the theater company wants to show. Without a doubt one of the most interesting shows to see in Prague.

16. Try their hot chocolate with cream

It's a great idea, especially during the coldest months of the year, when we will feel numb after a few hours without rest. The chocolate of this country is not as thick as that of Spain, but they add a succulent cloud of chantilly that will delight those with a sweet tooth.

17. Attend a concert

They call it the city of music, so you can imagine that concerts are a fundamental axis in Czech life. We can find a multitude of styles that come together in different settings, but if we can only choose one... we recommend one of the many classical music concerts that take place within the walls of many of its churches. You will find them at various prices and in different locations in the city, so it is quite easy to attend.

18. Have a beer served by a train

This is one of the pubs most curious things we found on our trip. As soon as you enter you find a miniature train station. Throughout the bar, an extensive network of tracks along which model trains circulate transporting the drinks ordered by customers.

19. Contemplate and/or climb the Town Hall

One of the main buildings to see in Prague is located in the Old Town Square, and it deserves to be looked at from various angles, we can even go up to the top if we want to get a panoramic view.

20. Discover the house where Kafka was born

It is located very close to the Old Town Square. At number five U Radnice, just a few steps from the tourist bustle, and although the original house was destroyed in a fire, we found a plaque commemorating his birth.

21. Shoot a crossbow in the Castle's armor workshop

A fun activity that we found in the castle armory. The first building we find when entering the golden alley of Prague.

Among the exposed armor, we find a small stop, where for fifty crowns they will let us shoot a crossbow three times and take the target that reflects our exploits.

22. Stroll through the Golden Alley

The Golden Alley seems to recreate a fairy tale atmosphere. Its low houses, its colorful doors and cheerful decorated windows. In many of these houses the homes of old professions are recreated, in others their famous puppets are sold, in any case, it is worth walking along their sidewalks.

23. Decipher the clock in the Jewish quarter

Does it measure future time? That's wrong? Um, those questions will arise if you look closely at this clock, which you can find in the tower of the Town Hall of the Jewish quarter whose hands go backwards, and which has the numbers in Hebrew.

24. Find the only synagogue built outside the Jewish quarter

The Maisel Synagogue is the only one we can find outside the Jewish quarter. If we pay attention to the history of the city, we will realize that it is a rather curious detail, because for many years the Jews were not able to build outside the neighborhood that had been assigned to them.

25. Make a stop at the cafe that we find on the stairs of the Castle

Going up to the Castle on foot has a special charm. The arrival is sweeter, because the climb punishes the legs, and you can also make a stop at the small cafe that we find halfway up. Its spectacular views will make you reconsider whether you want to continue climbing, or prefer to spend the morning like sybarites contemplating the passage of time.
