ODE TO SPRING

Despite the heat that has settled on the Iberian Peninsula since the end of last month, the official change of season occurred a few days ago. We are already in spring! To celebrate its arrival, we propose twelve plans that will make you recharge your batteries:

1. Excursion to the Jerte Valley

A classic that is renewed every year. A million cherry trees beating their branches, covered with a white mantle that transforms into red day by day, and that turns us into spectators of a part of the cycle of nature.

2. Napoleonic historical reenactment in Ciudad Rodrigo

During the weekend between April 5 and 7, you can enjoy a historical recreation in Ciudad Rodrigo that will immerse all attendees in one of the most turbulent periods in Spain: the invasion of Spain by the troops Napoleonic.

3. Visit the Barcelona Botanical Garden

8. Have an Arnoldo ice cream with sea views in San Sebastián

The simple idea of tasting the first ice cream of the season while contemplating the immensity of the sea... is enough of an incentive for most of us, if we add a visit to one of the most traditional ice cream parlors in San Sebastián, the pleasure is double.

9. Secret tours of Ampudia Castle

In the Palencia town of Ampudia, we find this wonderful castle from the 16th century. XV. By prior reservation, and in groups of five to fifteen people, you can enjoy a very special tour of the castle, discovering stories, legends and rooms to which access is normally not allowed.

10. Chanas Route in Asturias

One of the most beautiful routes in Asturias, and it is not especially difficult for those accustomed to country routes. It begins at the Molin de las Xanas, and for almost four kilometers we can observe the Asturian landscape in its purest form, leading to the hermitage of San Antonio.

11. Honey Theme Center

If you are one of those who feel apathy, and a little reluctance at this time, this plan is for you. It is well known that pollen and honey provide countless benefits to our diet, and are especially beneficial at this time of year, due to the contribution of extra energy.
